A workshop and Hackathon with Cyber Range – A Hyper Emulator
Today, organisations are prone to continuous and changing security threats. Incidents and breaches often create ripple through the entire organisation, with significant operational and financial implications. Skilled Cybersecurity professionals are vital for creating a cyber-secure resilient organisation. In this endeavour Cyber Range plays a critical role in creating a simulated environment where teams can build their skills to be better prepared for an unwarranted situation. This workshop and hackathon consist of analysing and detecting all the Indicators of compromise and respond and contain the attacks as it happens. Participants will access Spirent Cyber Range with simulated good and bad traffic, and detect all the security-related flags in the traffic in a particular time frame. The defence and analysis mechanisms would be provided by Fortinet Solutions.
Prerequisites:
Participant should have knowledge of data networking and should be aware of data network security elements. Participants should have knowledge on capturing tools like Wireshark and ability to analyse traffic using these tools. Hackathon will be led by Rajkumar Devulapalli, Head Global Services, India, SEA and ANZ, Spirent Communications, in association with Technical team from Terralogic Software Solutions. The solution will be powered by Fortinet Firewall, FortiSIEM & FortiAnalzer.
