An AIMINDS Data Science Meet-Up at REVA University, Bengaluru. 

The November 2018 edition of the AIMINDS monthly data science meet-up, Data Science Demystified, was jointly organized by REVA University and Analytics India Magazine on 24th November 2018 at the Kuvempu Auditorium, REVA University in Bengaluru.

The event was structured as a platform for both experienced and aspiring professionals interested in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Big Data and Analytics to meet, converse and learn from the industry thought leaders invited as the keynote speakers. Four eminent professionals from leading tech organizations shared insights and knowledge on latest trends and technologies in global data science and analytics domain.

Mr Sundara Ramalingam Nagalingam, Head – Deep Learning Practice at NVIDIA Graphics shared insights on how Artificial Intelligence is helping his organization create breath-taking games with real-life like graphics.

Mr Tushit Jain, Principal Engineer, Qualcomm spoke on how emerging technologies have facilitated in manufacturing chipsets which are helping mobile phones to evolve smarter each day.

Mr Ratnakar Pandey, India Head – Head Analytics and Data Science at Kabbage, Inc led an interactive session with the attendees on how analytics is changing the dynamics of the financial sector.

Dr J B Simha, CTO – ABIBA Systems and Chief Mentor for REVA Academy for Corporate Excellence (RACE) shared valuable insights on how the emerging technologies in AI, Big Data and Analytics are impacting the jobs of the future.

During the meet-up, REVA University conducted an exclusive Tweet with Hashtag #RACEREVA contest for participants; winners were selected based on the nature of content, quality and the number of tweets sent out by the participants. The culmination of each presentation was followed by a question and answer session in which the participants and the speakers had a highly interactive and knowledge sharing conversations. The meet-up witnessed an enthusiastic participation from both working professionals and the students of REVA University.
