Rules
- The REVA Cricket League tournament is a white leather ball cricket tournament.
- This tournament follows a league cum knockout format, limited to 100 Balls, and will be open to all corporates.
- A 25-ball powerplay for each team.
- Two fielders are allowed outside of the initial 30-yard circle during the powerplay.
- It’s 100 balls per innings. Whoever scores the most runs wins.
- The fielding side change ends after 50 balls.
- Bowlers deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls. The captain decides.
- Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per match.
- Matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday and on other General Holidays during January and February 2024 in REVA and Pendleton Grounds.
- Semi Finals and finals will be played in REVA Grounds.
- Teams must report 30 minutes before the commencement of their match.
- The captain or his representative should be ready on time for the toss.
- The toss for the match will be held 15 minutes before the start of the match.
- The match schedule will be emailed to the team captains and managers. Any schedule changes will be alerted by the event manager before the start of the tournament.
- Any delay in the start of the match will result in a loss of overs.
- Every 7 minutes – 10 balls/side will be lost.
- The 11-member team cannot be changed once the toss is over.
- No delay to the start of the match is accepted after the completion of the toss.
- In case of delay due to unavoidable weather conditions, the umpires will fix the number of overs to be played.
- In case of a match (league) being called off, due to weather conditions, equal points will be awarded.
- In case of a knockout match, a super-over will be conducted. If this is not possible, the team that has been placed higher in their respective group will go through.
- In case of 2 or more teams finishing the group stages at equal points, the teams going through to the next round will be based on Net Run Rate(NRR) basis.
- Net Run Rate = Average Runs Scored per over/average Runs Conceded per over.
- Re-match will not be allowed if either of the teams does not agree. Umpires and the management hold the final decision.
- The minimum overs a match can be reduced to is 5 overs/side.
- Man-of-the-match award will be presented post every match.
- Other special awards will be presented at the commencement of the finals.
- Smoking & and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited on the ground/campus. Violation of this rule will be penalized by the ground authorities.
- The organizer/organizing committee is not responsible for any form of injury the player sustains or any other uncalled-for incidents during the tournament.
- Only bonafide employees are allowed. They must produce a valid organization-issued ID card to verify their affiliation.
- All other latest ICC rules of The 100 Cricket will apply in the REVA Tournament.
- Top Team from Each group qualifies across 4 groups, will qualify for Quarters (Based on the number of outright wins and NRR).
- The organize/organizing committee/ground staff are not responsible for the theft or loss of players’ kits/valuables on the ground/premises.
- Team list is to be shared by the captain/manager prior to the tournament. A maximum of 15 names can be submitted by the management.
- It is mandatory to submit the names with the ID number/card of the employee.
- Guest players and student teams are strictly not allowed. Only bonafide employees are allowed to participate. Violation of this rule will result in the team being disqualified.
