Dr Ramkumari Harisankar Iyer has been recognised at the Top 10 Women Tech Leaders India Awards 2026, presented by REVA Academy for Corporate Excellence (RACE), REVA University. The awards honour women who lead with impact in technology and actively create opportunities for other women.

Dr Ramkumari Harisankar Iyer is an award-winning technology executive and practitioner with more than 30 years of global leadership in enterprise process excellence, business process framework implementation and cyber resilience. As a P&L leader, she has managed over $300 million in global contracts across more than 50 clients in the Aerospace, Telecom, BFSI and Manufacturing sectors.

Dr Iyer is recognised for establishing Centres of Excellence, driving CMMI maturity, scaling ITIL/ITSM operating models, and embedding Lean Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping into digital, cloud and industrial OT/SCADA operations. A master trainer, lead auditor and coach for global frameworks including ITIL 4, VeriSM, CMMI, ISO 20000 and COBIT, she delivers full audit readiness and aligns regulatory mandates with process automation.

Her programmes have delivered measurable results:

• 30% fewer system errors and 25% less operational waste
• 25% higher IT/OT service reliability
• 35% faster delivery through CMMI Level 2/3 and DevSecOps maturity

In the defence and federal sector, she raised NIST 800-171 compliance from 62% to 98% within 12 months and architected CMMC 2.0 Level 2 enclaves and DFARS incident workflows.

Through ISO 42001-aligned AI risk governance frameworks, Dr Iyer has helped reduce algorithmic bias in analytics by 35% and trained more than 20 subject-matter experts to deliver 80% compliance gains. Her next objective is to take a more visible leadership role in shaping how organisations adopt AI securely and responsibly.

Dr Iyer supports women in technology through awareness sessions, mentoring and coaching, helping them build the confidence and capability to grow into technology and leadership roles. Of the more than 100 technical and process professionals she has trained, 60% have progressed into key leadership roles in SCADA auditing, ITSM and cybersecurity.

Her contributions to technology leadership, process excellence and governance have earned approximately 35 awards across multiple categories.
